About Us
Welcome to BDSM101.org. This site is dedicated to giving information and advice to new or interested people on a variety of topics related to BDSM, kink, and alternative lifestyles. The authors for this site come from a variety of backgrounds and interests. However we all share a passion for making it easier and more comfortable for those who are interested in these things to get involved and stay safe when exploring. We hope to share our experiences and knowledge with a wider audience. If you are interested in contributing to the site feel free to drop us a line on the Interested In Writing page. And feel free to reach out to us with any questions, comments or concerns at info@bdsm101.org. Everyone contributing to this site is a volunteer, doing this just because they do want to help others.
We started this site in an attempt to pull together a variety of viewpoints and backgrounds in writing articles aimed at new people. There is lots of information out there, but if someone is coming in brand new they may not know where to look or even what to look for. All of the founders of this site have a passion for helping new people find their own way in bdsm and the kink community and we wanted to put together a resource to a wider audience. We are hoping to create a portal of information that when someone says “I want to check out this BDSM thing”, others can just point them to this site and they won’t feel awkward or uncomfortable asking basic questions. Hopefully you find this site useful, let us know if you have questions, if you disagree with things, if you think you could write something better or something that we do not already cover, or if you just want to say hi.
